“Built for comfort, the Component Sleeping System is perfect for any need that arises! It is a mix between a sleeping bag and a sleeping pad and is incredibly comfortable to sleep in. It is an easy setup and pack up for more efficient travel. The Component Sleeping System is comfortable, easy to pack and perfect for any situation!”

"The sleep system provides a revolutionary sleeping experience. In my ten years of camping experience I had never slept so comfortably. I no longer have to worry about suffering the cold of Colorado nights when I am backpacking. Other than its comfortability, one of my favorite things about the sleep system is that it is ready to sleep in mere seconds. The sleep system conveniently rolls out and is ready to provide rest to any weary camper. I would recommend the sleep system to anyone looking to get a great nights sleep in nature."

"It's important to get good sleep when out on the trail backpacking. So, when I went on a 5-day backpacking trip on the Continental Divide Trail in the Colorado Weminuche Wilderness, I took my Mountain Light Gear and Apparel sleeping system with me. And I'm so glad I did. The system is so comfortable and gives a great night's sleep. I can sleep comfortably on my back, my side, even on my stomach. The fleece lining is so soft and warm. The only downside is that you won't want to get out of it come morning."

A Message from our Founder

"I have been a professional mountain guide for almost 50 years, and there is one thing I know is a priority— You must get adequate sleep and rest each evening when participating in the physical demands of backpacking/mountaineering.

I did not try to design the lightest sleeping system but the lightest, most comfortable sleeping system. Those of you who use mummy sleeping bags while camping and backpacking— how many times have you rolled off your sleeping pad on to the hard cold ground throughout the night? How many times have you awakened to find out your air mattress was flat because the air had leaked out or because it had busted? How many times have you felt claustrophobic because you could not pull your knees up or stretch your legs? How many times are you going to keep doing this until you decide you want to be comfortable, sleep well and get a good night's sleep (like you do at home in your own bed) with a Mountain Light Gear and Apparel Sleeping System?"
